History
- A 9 months dog was presented to our clinic in Moscow state academy of Veterinary medicine, Surgery department with lifting limb lameness.
- History of traumatic fall
Orthopedic examination reveals
- Hyperesthesia of the right forelimb at the antebrachial region with crepitating sound when manipulating the radius bone
Radiographic Examination reveals
- Short oblique diaphyseal radius fracture near to the distal joint
Recommendations
- Surgical internal fixation of the fracture by the use of a bone plate
Postoperative Care
- Bandage is important for one week after operation
- Antibiotics, NSAIDs for 2 weeks after operation
